Welcome Mattis from Germany

Last but not least, we are introducting Mattis, an enthusiastic representative of Germany at ISLI 2024, a beacon of cultural richness and diverse interests. Having spent the majority of his life in England, Matthis returned to his roots in Germany a couple of years ago, bringing a unique international perspective to the board.

Currently navigating year 11 at a Gymnasium in Würzburg, Matthis is not your typical high school student. Juggling academics, he's also delving into the world of physics at the University of Würzburg. His love for languages, cultures, sciences, reading, sport, and music showcases a well-rounded individual ready to make a positive impact on the ISLI community.

Matthis's passion for languages and cultures reflects his deep appreciation for Germany's cultural richness. He finds joy in exploring the historic monuments that dot the German landscape, such as the awe-inspiring "Residenz" in his city. What makes Germany special for Matthis is not just its cultural tapestry but the accessibility of it all.

With his global perspective, love for learning, and a rich cultural background, Matthis is set to be a cornerstone of the ISLI 2024 experience. His journey from England to Germany, coupled with a commitment to diverse interests, makes him a compelling advocate for the international spirit that ISLI embodies. Get ready to embark on a transformative journey with Matthis as he guides ISLI 2024 towards new horizons.
