Senior Regents

  • Cora Fee Parohl

    DENMARK

    Hailing from the Danish minority in Germany, Cora is fluent in both Danish and German. She maintains a strong connection to her Danish background. Currently Cora pursues an academic journey in Sports and Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark, being a dedicated sports enthusiast.

  • Femke Van de Vijver

    THE NETHERLANDS

    Studying Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology, Femke is specializing in product design. Next to her academic pursuits, she enjoys tennis, creativity and connecting with people. She participates in her student association and excels in mentoring new students.

  • Aada Lehtoniemi

    FINLAND

    A vibrant 18-year-old hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Finland. Aada's focus lies in the realm of music, as she is part of a music program at her school. Besides her passion for music, she also takes delight in reading and writing. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends.

  • Ayse Smeulders

    THE NETHERLANDS

    As the regent representing the Netherlands, Ayse is honored to return after her transformative experience in the previous ISLI. Eager to share insights about leadership and personal growth, she looks forward to creating an unforgettable week of camaraderie and self-discovery at ISLI 2024

  • Birte Thys

    BELGIUM

    Serving as the youngest Regent, Birte likes to tell her international friends that she is from the country with the best chocolate in the world! She is currently studying Modern Languages, as that is a passion of hers. Birte plays the piano and bass guitar and is actively involved in a youth movement.

  • Diana Dima

    BELGIUM

    Coming with zero expectations to ISLI, she tells that she was unexpectedly chosen as a regent. Diana likes to dive into new adventures to learn new things. Engaging in meaningful debates, her regency wasn’t so unexpected at all. Travelling from one country to another, life is promising much for Diana.

  • Floor Van der Aalst

    THE NETHERLANDS

    Being passionate about being both on and off stage, she would really love to get a bachelor's degree in theatre education. Floor is a real performer, which will make her a perfect asset for the 2024’s News Break. She also loves to spending time outside, in the woods, loving the Dutch landscapes. Be aware: keep quiet, because Floor will talk!

  • Helena Kulonen

    FINLAND

    She pursuits an academic career in law school, being intrigued by Human Rights and International Relations. Helena loves the beautiful Finish winters and is currently finding her passions in an aesthetic gymnastics group and playing the piano. She hopes to share these passions at ISLI 2024.

  • Ioannis Tsaousis Tonits

    SWEDEN

    He has set a goal: before he turns 70, he wants to have visited all countries in the world. Ioannis adores travelling and learning about new countries’ histories. That is why he currently attends the IHGR in Gothenburg city, studying Social Sciences. Maybe serving as a diplomat one day, Ioannis pursuits great carreer options.

  • Julia Tadros

    GERMANY

    She adores reading and writing and that’s the main reason she would love to study psychoanalysis or psychology in the future. Julia is a senior in high school and also loves playing volleyball. She is looking forward to meeting the 2024’s ISLI participants to give them the same, supporting experience she had last year.

  • Mattis Liebermann

    GERMANY

    Mattis spent the majority of his life in England, which makes him fluent in the language. Though, he is currently at a German Gymansium in Würzburg, excelling, both studying a module in physics at the University of Würzburg. Mattis is passional about languages and learning about new cultures, loving the cultural richness Germany has.

  • Martin Szkandera

    Czech Republic

    He recently started studying Chemistry at the University in Prague, Martin carries a great passion for sciences. He is into sports as well, although he thinks it’s sometimes a peculiar combination. He is proud to represent Czech Republic and would love to tell you more about his country at ISLI 2024.

  • Natálie Thea Linhartová

    Czech Republic

    Currently attending grammar school Slovanské gymnázium in Olomouc, she has been studying a variety of subjects such as humanities, political sciences and history. Nat, as her friends call her, enjoys listening to music and participating in debates. Although she is from Prague, she lost her heart to the countryside and would love to study abroad one day.

  • Zsófia Stefely

    HUNGARY

    Looking forward to be studying mechanical engineering at university, Zsófia is currently finishing high school. Besides studying, she loves music. Bands such as Rammstein intrigue her, inspiring to play the drums herself. She has been active doing competition sports in fencing and loves talking about her country. She feels very honored to be serving as a Regent to ISLI.
